Food industry - Shelf life evaluation log

Food manufacturers are required to do a shelf life assessment by the end of food’s shelf life. As per the standard, the end of shelf life is considered 30 days before or after the labeled expiry date. If the product is stored in the freezer as per the requirement, it should be thawed before the inspection.
