TACCP assessment checklist

TACCP means Threat Assessment and Critical Control Points. As the name suggests it is an assessment test for a manufacturing site so that the management can evaluate the processes and calculate any threats in safety and security. Things related to food tampering, adulteration of food, etc can come under it.

Is there any chemical hazard?
Is there any biological hazard?
Is there any physical hazard?
Is there any radiological hazard?
Do you consider it a significant hazard?
Mention the consequence of hazard (fatal, major injuries, minor injuries, negligible injuries)
What is the probability of risk rating? (very likely, likely, unlikely, highly unlikely)
What is the risk rate of the hazard? (high, medium, low)
What is the control measure taken? (PPE, elimination, substitution, engineering control, administrative controls, others)
What are the prerequisite programs taken?
What is the process?
Any other comments?
