The term Practical Completion is often referred to as PC, implies that the building is ready for its intended use while small minor defects may still be present. When the building work is complete, a sign-off is issued which relieves the contractor from possession of the building. Once the PC is complete, the sole responsibility of the building lies with the owner, and a time frame is decided for pending defects to be taken care of.
