Forklifts must be inspected daily before and after use to ensure minimal risk and hazards. This is a visual inspection where each component is individually inspected. The inspector checks the fluid levels of water and oil and then looks for apparent leaks, damage, or cracks. The inspection also includes checking tyres, load extension, safety signage as well as safety devices.
