CHECKLIST FOR EXCAVATION IN PIPELINE/CUTTING/REINSTATEMENT OF ROAD (QC-A-30)
Whether the trenches have been excavated to correct depth with working space as per specifications and dimensions?
Whether thrust blocks have been provided as per drawing?
Whether cutting slope and berm have been provided with approval from engineer-in-charge?
Whether the trenches were backfilled in layers, and properly watered and consolidated as per specifications?
The filling is carried out to required level and without any settlement?
Field compaction / density test conducted?
Whether the road metal was separately collected and all type of roads reinstated properly with brick-on-edge/CC/paver tiles of required thickness after laying of pipes? Whether test certificate for such materials available?
Whether VWSC/Panchayat are satisfied with restoring of roads and streets and a certificate to this effect has been given by the VWSC/Panchayat before clearing payments of brick paving/ cement concrete restoration work?
