CAF Deployment Drill
Roll out pressure hose within 30 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Open fuel valve within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Prime fuel within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Apply choke within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Set throttle to start position within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Switch on engine within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Engage compressor switch within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Open foam valve and set to 75 within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Increase throttle as needed within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Engage nozzle within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
CAF Retraction Drill
Throttle down within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Switch off engine within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Disengage nozzle within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Open nozzle, release pressure, and close nozzle within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Close fuel valve within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Reel up pressure hose within 120 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Release compressor pressure to zero within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Close foam valve within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Remove nozzle and store in truck compartment within 30 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Compliance
Is the daily checklist completed and equipment in good working order?
Is the operator PPE checklist compliant?
Filling Gravity Tank (Deployment)
Align gravity tank outlet with tank inlet within 60 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Apply brakes and set to neutral within 30 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Open tank water hatch within 15 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Place gravity tank hose in tank within 15 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Open gravity tank valve within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Filling Gravity Tank (Retraction)
Close gravity tank valve within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Roll up gravity tank hose within 30 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Close tank hatch within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Filling Pump Drill
Fully submerge suction hose nozzle in water within 30 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Close pressure hose valve within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Engage auto prime & pump within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Fill up tank (2.5 min / 1,000 L) within 900 seconds (15 min) (If NO, record actual time).
Filling Pump Retraction Drill
Disengage auto prime & pump within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Remove suction pipe & secure in truck compartment within 45 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Water Deployment Drill
Roll out pressure hose within 30 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Open fuel valve within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Prime fuel within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Apply choke within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Set throttle to start position within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Pull start engine within 30 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Gradually close choke within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Increase throttle as needed within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Engage nozzle within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Are oil and fuel levels of pumps correct (and greased where applicable)?
Is the air intake and filter clean and unobstructed?
Is the pump house primed and free from airlocks?
Is the pump in good working condition (choke, throttle, kill switch, fuel gauge, wiring, supply)?
Is the water tank filled and leak-free?
Is the unit secured to chassis/frame with belts or turnbuckles?
Is the hose reel in good condition and pressure hose rolled up?
Is the supply hose in good condition without leaks?
Is the pressure hose in good condition (no leaks, >10m in length)?
Is the suction hose in good condition (no leaks, fittings/tube/filter intact)?
Is the adjustable spray nozzle in good condition without leaks?
Is extra fuel available (min. 5 liters)?
Is a full water container available for priming pump?
Does the pump start easily with no leaks in the system?
Water Retraction Drill
Disengage nozzle within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Throttle down within 10 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Switch off engine within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Close fuel valve within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Open nozzle, release pressure, and close nozzle within 5 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
Reel up pressure hose within 120 seconds (If NO, record actual time).
